Whittaker’s Christmas Crackers: A step-by-step guide

Step 1

Flatten any type of Whittaker’s packaging you’d like to use and iron with a towel on top.

Step 2

Cut the length you’d like for your Christmas cracker.

Step 3

Find a toilet paper roll and mark out where it will fit on the packaging. Fold the marked lines.

Step 4

Using a new toilet roll, cut out two cylinders, no smaller than 3cm. Mark at the ends of the packaging and fold on the line to create a crease, leaving a gap for hole punching.

Step 5

Using a hole punch, punch holes into the small gaps where the paper will be tied.

Step 6

Using double sided tape, tape onto the paper where the toilet rolls are going to be.

Step 7

Place the toilet rolls onto the edge and roll all three at the same time.

Step 8

Using any type of string, wrap around the gaps between the toilet rolls on top of the hole punched holes.
